A Debt of Gratitude

by Michael Feeley
I owe you a debt of gratitude.
What does that mean?
It means someone or something did something good for you that helped you vitally change your life, and you feel grateful. You owe them thanks, which is an exceptional thing – to feel grateful.
It’s a debt, an owing that I don’t think you will ever want to pay off and get rid of.
It’s a debt to cherish for all time.
Gratitude is a debt you can be proud of. Something you’ll always remember because it has lasting value.
“I’m indebted to you” are meaningful and magnificent words.
It’s also an opportunity to return gratitude, pay it forward, and help others live good lives.
Go deep in debt with your gratitude. Gratitude will never bankrupt you, never destroy your life.
