THERE’S A GOLDEN Cane Palm Tree in my front yard, and the roots go deep.

It’s strong and nearly impossible to pull out, even during a hurricane.

It has integrity – growing and branching out like the human integrity you can choose to have rooted deep inside your ‘self’ – with your partner – with friends – strangers – your community – country – the world.

Human integrity is a choice – you standing for something persistently.

You make promises (and should keep them) because you desire to make things better.

Your integrity affects everyone and everything around you.
