Mindfulness – Live in the Moment
by Michael Feeley
IT’S 5 AM and the wall clock in my dining area chimes and reminds me to live in the moment.
It’s a trigger telling me that the only time I am truly alive is now – in the present moment of life right now.
We do not live in the past. We can remember it, visit it in our thoughts and learn from the past.
We do not live in the future. We have plans, hopes, and dreams and even fears about the future but, we are not yet living in the future. (There is that beautiful transition where the now merges with the future. Both are one, and you can’t tell the difference. I love that.)
I hope this post encourages you to be mindful of the here and now – to live life fully right now, with love and enjoyment for
the present moment. Be grateful for now. Be alive. Be!
“The present moment, if you think about it, is the only time there is. No matter what time it is, it is always now.”
